Eugena Maguire is a registered social worker who holds a Masters in Social Work, a Neufeld Institute course facilitator and former foster parent. She has been studying the attachment based developmental paradigm since 2013 and has implemented it into both her practice with clients and her everyday life. Eugena has a vested interest in supporting clients in the perinatal period and generally through grief, including loss related to suicide, and healing after trauma. She is adept at supporting clients with anxiety, depression or attentional challenges and offers a fresh spin on many issues, informed by the concept of ‘turning towards’ emotions and working with the wisdom of one’s neurobiology. Eugena also offers parent coaching to help parents make sense of their children from the inside out as well as navigate co-parenting dynamics. Eugena has training in parts work and is passionate about helping clients explore deeper parts of themselves, heal and integrate outdated neural response patterns. Eugena is trained in Gottman and EFT (emotionally-focused therapy) for couples and can attest to witnessing the power of working within the context of relationships themselves.
